A workshop on Laminar Burning Velocities entitled "New perspectives, Methods, and Applications" will be held in Lisbon before the 9th European Combustion Meeting (April 14, 2019).

The workshop addresses the objectives:

•          What needs do exist to measure LBV with respect to the choice of application, fuel, and conditions?

•          What kind of property can be delivered and for which conditions?

•          Is the laminar burning velocity the right target to be measured?

The workshop will consist of invited keynote lectures and scientific discussions. Scientists and engineers working in the field of combustion and kinetics are invited to participate to this workshop.
